Popular skitmaker Sanku killed in Oyo road accident

Popular Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, widely known as Sanku, has died in a fatal car crash along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State.
His passing was confirmed on Monday by actor Yemi Elesho through his social media platforms.
Interestingly, on August 4, Sanku had shared a skit portraying himself in heaven after death, where he humorously complained about not seeing many familiar faces and, in the video, urged his partner to head to hell so they could enjoy life together.
Following the tragic news, Nollywood actors have taken to social media to express their grief and pay tribute to him.

Actress Funmi Awelewa, expressed heartbreak, saying, “The pain, the effort, the strength, the struggle… walai nothing make sense. I’m heartbroken. Even film sef never come out! It does not make sense.”
Earlier, influencer Jidex posted a video of the wrecked vehicle, disclosing that several passengers sustained injuries in the crash.
Sanku and another victim were severely injured, but the comedian later died from his wounds.
“This is truly heartbreaking. Someone who left home healthy is suddenly gone. It’s painful, especially coming just a day after the death of Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor,” Jidex wrote.
