The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the list of officials assigned to oversee the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, scheduled from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

A total of 73 officials have been appointed for this prestigious tournament, including 28 referees, 31 assistant referees, and 14 VAR officials. Notably, no Nigerian referees made the list this time.

The selected officials come from various regions across Africa and include some of the continent’s most experienced referees, many of whom have officiated in major CAF competitions recently.

All officials are expected to arrive in Morocco on December 15, 2025, to participate in an intensive preparatory program organized by CAF’s Referees Department. The training will feature physical, technical, and theoretical assessments aimed at ensuring peak performance throughout the tournament.

This meticulous selection process highlights CAF’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of refereeing, ensuring fair play, and enhancing the technical quality of African football.
