APC Party Swears In Newly Elected Ward and Local Government Executives in Remo Federal Constituency
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Party, Ogun State Chapter, on Monday, March 2, 2026, officially swore in its newly elected Ward and Local Government Executives across the state, with the Remo Federal Constituency inauguration held at the Sagamu Town Hall.
The event was part of the Party’s statewide inauguration of 236 Ward Executives and 20 Local Government Executives, aimed at strengthening its grassroots structures and repositioning the APC Party for greater electoral success in Ogun State.
The Remo Federal Constituency, which comprises Sagamu, Ikenne, and Remo North Local Government Areas, witnessed a well-attended ceremony as party faithful, stakeholders, and supporters gathered to witness the inauguration.
The programme commenced with opening prayers offered by Muslim and Christian clerics, reflecting unity and religious harmony within the APC Party. This was followed by the rendition of the National Anthem and the Party anthem.
The swearing-in ceremony began with Ikenne Local Government, where the newly elected ward and local government executives took their oaths of office. The exercise was led by the Party Chairman of Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Temitope Seidu.
Next was the inauguration of executives from Remo North Local Government. The swearing-in of ward and local government executives was conducted under the leadership of the Party Chairman, Mr. Akeem Ajibola.
The ceremony concluded with the swearing-in of Sagamu Local Government executives, both at the ward and local levels, led by the Party Chairman, Hon. Rotimi Omotayo.
Delivering the vote of thanks, the Executive Vice Chairman, Comrade Alhaji Isiaka Salami, appreciated party leaders, members, and stakeholders for their presence and continued commitment to the APC Party. He congratulated the newly inaugurated ward and local government executives, urging them to remain committed and dedicated to strengthening the Party at the grassroots. He also wished everyone a safe journey back to their respective homes.
The inauguration marks another significant milestone for the APC Party in Remo Federal Constituency, reinforcing its commitment to unity, organization, and sustained political growth in Ogun State.
