Ogun security service assure residents of safety during festivity
Ogun State Police Command have assured residents of the state that it had put in place a robust security arrangement to ensure hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
A statement signed by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated that the Command is not oblivious of the fact that many religious organisations have their headquarters in Ogun State, and the implication is that there is going to be influx of people from various parts of the world into the state for one religious obligation or the other.
Oyeyemi, therefore, said that policemen have been strategically deployed by the Commissioner of Police (CP), Lanre Bankole, across the length and breadth of the state with a clear mandate of ensuring crime-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
