YAYI DELIVERS MODERN IBARA POLICE STATION IN ABEOKUTA

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá, popularly known as YAYI, has completed and delivered the Ultra-Modern Ibara Police Station in Abeokuta South Local Government Area, bringing a key security infrastructure project to Ibara, within Ogun Central Senatorial District.

The facility is intended to support policing operations, strengthen public safety and improve the working conditions of police personnel. Its completion marks another addition to infrastructure projects attributed to the senator’s commitments across Ogun State under the Renewed Hope Agenda on Infrastructure.

Designed as a more functional and comfortable base for officers, the station is fitted with essential operational equipment and modern amenities. To help ensure a steady electricity supply, it has a 30KVA generator alongside a 15KVA solar inverter system. The dual power setup is intended to provide reliable electricity for the facility’s day-to-day operations.

Other features include air-conditioning systems, water supply facilities and modern furnishings. Landscaping has also been completed, improving the site’s appearance and helping transform what was previously a police post into a contemporary security facility.

The project’s delivery is being presented as part of Senator YAYI’s efforts to provide infrastructure with direct benefits for residents. A properly equipped police station can offer officers a more suitable environment for carrying out their duties and contribute to local security services.

The completion of the Ibara facility adds to a series of projects being undertaken across Ogun State. It also reflects a wider emphasis on linking public commitments with completed work in areas such as security and community development.

The station’s modern power systems and facilities are expected to support its operation and provide a more conducive environment for police personnel. Its delivery is described by the project’s promoters as a milestone in efforts to build a safer and better-developed Ogun State.

Senator Adéọlá’s supporters say further projects are expected in the months ahead, as development initiatives continue across the state. They describe the Ibara Police Station as evidence of a leadership approach focused on tangible achievements and lasting impact on residents.

The project has been promoted under the slogan “Promise Made, Promises Kept,” with the station’s completion highlighted as a commitment fulfilled.
