Guber Poll: Ahmed Aliyu Announced Winner, Sokoto Governorship Election

Following the March 18th gubernatorial election, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Sokoto, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has been declared the winner of the state governorship polls.

It was reported that Aliyu won with a total of 453,661 votes, defeating his closest rival, Saidu Umar of the PDP who polled a total vote of 404,632.
