Hon. Engr. Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan, member of the House of Representatives representing Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, has consulted members of the Ifesowapọ Community Development Association (CDA) in Amutebu, Ojowo, Ijebu Igbo.
Adegbesan, who is seeking re-election, was accompanied by Hon. Olatunbosun Ipaye, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ijebu North State Constituency I. The candidates met with community members to discuss local concerns and hear residents’ priorities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
During the consultation, the APC team appealed to residents to support the party’s candidates across all levels of government. They said continued backing for the APC would help sustain development programmes and bring further benefits to the community.
Adegbesan highlighted what he described as the achievements of the APC-led administration and his constituency interventions. He pointed to work in infrastructure, education, empowerment and community development, urging residents to consider the party’s record when deciding how to vote.
He also encouraged the community to support APC candidates so they could continue delivering development to the people. The candidates said that cooperation between elected representatives and local communities was important for identifying needs and advancing projects.
The meeting gave residents an opportunity to raise concerns and share their expectations for Amutebu, Ojowo and the wider Ijebu Igbo area. Community members engaged with the candidates on issues affecting their welfare and the area’s future development.
The visit underscored the candidates’ stated commitment to grassroots engagement, consultation and inclusive representation as the 2027 elections approach. Their appeal focused on securing support for APC candidates from top to bottom, while presenting the party’s development record as a basis for renewed backing.
