APC Unveils Sagamu Constituency 1 Campaign Council for 2027 Election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagamu State Constituency 1 has announced its campaign council ahead of the 2027 Ogun State House of Assembly election.

The party said the council’s structure is designed to bring together leaders, stakeholders and grassroots representatives to coordinate its campaign and pursue victory across the constituency.

Otunba Adedoyin Adeleke will serve as patron, while Hon. Muri Awolaja will chair the Advisory Council and Hon. Ola Oresanya will lead the Elders’ Council. Agbaakin (Barr.) Ganiu Odufuwa has been named chairman of the Executive Council.

Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate will chair the Campaign Council, with the constituency’s serving assembly member, Hon. Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello Dre, as co-chairman. They will be supported by three vice-chairmen: Hon. Rotimi Omotayo, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya and Hon. Segun Oladunjoye.

Comrade Damilare Fasasi will serve as director-general of the campaign. His deputies are Hon. Adewale Aka, Hon. Abeeb Ajetunmobi and Comrade Musibau Animasaun.

Hon. Isiaka Salami has been appointed campaign secretary, supported by assistant secretaries Comrade Oluwole Aduroja and Dele Tikare. Arakunrin (Alh.) Samsideen Sanni and Moshood Sulaimon will lead the Special Area structure, while serving ward councillors will act as ward coordinators.

The campaign council has also established committees to oversee key areas of its operations. Capt. Oluwole Oyeleke will chair Security, Advance and Protocol, while Hon. Wasiu Awolaja will lead Contact and Mobilisation. Chief Abu Abel will head Fundraising, and Awobajo Adesegun, known as Acarthy, will oversee New Media.

Other appointments include Hon. (Alh.) Aderayo Owonifari for Women’s Engagement; Hon. Solomon Oyekan for Youth Engagement; Hon. Adewale Osho for Transport and Logistics; and Mr. Idowu Osubu, PhD, for Publicity. Hon. Adekunle Folarin will coordinate ward activities, while Mrs. Sameeat Raji will lead Welfare. Planning and Operations will be co-chaired by Hon. Isa Abdul and Comrade Ola Yusuf.

The party said full mobilisation across the constituency’s wards is expected to begin in the coming weeks. It added that the complete committee membership list will be released later, ahead of the council’s planned inauguration.

The announcement was signed by Bello Dre, who represents Sagamu Constituency 1 in the Ogun State House of Assembly and chairs its Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption.
