FEELINGCOOL MEETS APC MEMBERS IN WARD 10 AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS.

Prince Adeshina Adewale Oluwaseun, popularly known as FeelingCool and Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on Works and Infrastructure, attended a grassroots familiarization meeting at APC Ward 10, Polling Unit 20, in Ijebu North Local Government on Wednesday, 7 October.

The meeting was convened by Prince Adesegun Motilade, Coordinator of Ogun State Caucus 7202 for Ijebu North II State Constituency (Ifelodun), as part of preparations and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The gathering was the first polling-unit meeting held there during the current campaign season. It also provided an opportunity to introduce FeelingCool to members of his new grassroots political jurisdiction following the transfer of his voting centre to Ward 10. Attendees from Shalla and Lugbedu introduced themselves and raised issues affecting their communities.

Residents seek support for community hospital,Community development was a key topic, particularly the Lugbedu Community Hospital, which residents said was facilitated through the efforts of Prince Segun Kaka (PSK), the Ogun State House of Assembly representative for Ijebu North II.

Residents appealed to the government to recruit and deploy healthcare workers to the newly established facility, saying additional staff would strengthen local healthcare services and support residents’ wellbeing.

The Shalla and Lugbedu area was described as a growing community whose residents include traditional leaders, Baales, Chiefs, community development association executives, professionals, business owners, traders, farmers and other stakeholders.

**Pledge of support and mobilisation**

Addressing the gathering, FeelingCool said he was pleased to meet members of his grassroots political jurisdiction for the first time since relocating his voting centre. He described the engagement as a positive step, adding that the presence of political leaders and government representatives could help bring greater attention to local development needs.

He urged residents to continue supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to engage voters through door-to-door mobilisation. He also pledged to provide a solar power installation in the area within the coming weeks and said the concerns raised would be addressed progressively.

FeelingCool called on members to support the APC’s candidates for the five direct elective positions: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, seeking a second term under the Renewed Hope Agenda; Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), for governor of Ogun State; Prince Dapo Abiodun, for Ogun East Senatorial District; Hon. Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan, for re-election to the House of Representatives; and Prince Segun Kaka, for re-election to the Ogun State House of Assembly.

Community leaders, Baales, Chiefs, Olorituns, CDA chairmen and members, APC Ward 10 members and other stakeholders attended.
