Governor Seyi Makinde Presents Staff of Office to New Eleruwa of Eruwa

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has officially presented the staff and instruments of office to His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, as the Eleruwa of Eruwa. The ceremony, marked the formal recognition of Oba Adegbola’s ascension to the throne.

Speaking during the presentation, Governor Makinde emphasized that the selection of Oba Adegbola was the decision of the kingmakers, and his administration only endorsed their nomination. He reiterated his government’s commitment to supporting and protecting the traditional institution in Oyo State.

“Our administration will continue to do all within our power to ensure that our traditional institution is protected and supported,” Governor Makinde stated. “May Kabiyesi’s reign be prosperous and long, and may the good people of Eruwa benefit from his rulership.”

The event marks a new chapter for the people of Eruwa, as Oba Adegbola assumes his role as the town’s royal father, expected to guide and lead his people in the years ahead.
