Ijaya Flags Off Oko Ati Ada Road Construction, Promises New Era of Development for RemoLand

Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (Ijaya), representing Remo Federal Constituency, flagged off the construction of the long-awaited Oko Ati Ada Road.
Oba Timothy Akinsanya, the Ewusi of Makun, praised Ijaya’s efforts, saying they have significantly improved the lives of Makun people. “Ijaya’s leadership has brought pride to our community, and we are grateful for her dedication,” he said.
Hon. Muri Awolaja, former APC Chairman, expressed confidence in Ijaya’s ability to complete the project, which had been abandoned since 1989. “We trust Ijaya to deliver on her promises, and this road construction is a testament to her commitment,” he said.
Ijaya, in her address, reaffirmed her commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Remo Land. “We are not just constructing roads; we are building a better future for our community. I assure you that this project will be completed in record time, and we will continue to work tirelessly for the development of Remo Land.”
She also announced plans for additional projects, including the Kereke Ifa project, which would commence soon. “We are committed to transforming Remo Land, and we urge you to trust in God as we move forward.”
The contractor, Daisygo Construction Group, represented by Engr. Victor, assured the gathering that the construction would be carried out with the support of SHEDA under the Ministry of Science and Technology, ensuring the project’s success and timely completion.
Dignitaries in attendance included Oba Solomon Oguntade, the Orimadegun of Araromi, Sagamu, Oba Sonuga, the Fadesewa of Simawa, the Lisa of Makun Kingdom, Asiwaju S.K Onafowokan, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape, Hon. Ajetumobi, Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate and many other personalities.
