Joshua Predicts First-Round Knockout in Fury Showdown

Anthony Joshua has predicted a possible first-round knockout when he faces Tyson Fury in their long-awaited heavyweight showdown on December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Joshua made the prediction during the fighters’ first press conference in London on September 30, saying he expects a knockout and that it could come as early as the opening round. He also expressed his desire to produce a spectacular victory in front of the home crowd.

The bout, involving two former heavyweight world champions, has been in the making for years. The fight was previously threatened by disagreements over its location and promotional arrangements, with Joshua and his camp insisting on a United Kingdom venue.

Those issues have since been settled, with Principality Stadium confirmed as the venue for the December 11 encounter.

Joshua and Fury have never met professionally, making the Cardiff contest their first official meeting in the ring. Both fighters have held heavyweight world titles and are now set to settle their long-running rivalry.

The December showdown is expected to attract significant attention as the two British heavyweights finally meet in one of the most anticipated bouts of the year.
