He also called for renewed commitment to hard work, responsible citizenship and national development, saying prayers and hopes for Nigeria should be accompanied by actions that contribute to the country’s progress.

Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the challenges Nigeria has experienced since independence but expressed confidence in the nation’s ability to overcome adversity through collective commitment and sustained efforts.

He urged citizens to work with leaders in pursuit of the common good, stressing that the future of the country would be shaped by the choices and contributions of Nigerians.

The governor also paid tribute to the nation’s founding fathers and other Nigerians who have contributed to preserving the country’s unity since independence.
