Nkechi Blessing Warns Against Shaming Women Over Marriage, Childbearing
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has urged social media users to stop shaming women over their marital status, age or inability to have children, saying they may be unaware of the personal struggles such women face privately.
The actress made the call in a post shared on Instagram on Monday, August 10, 2026, while also warning women seeking marriage, children or other personal breakthroughs to be cautious of what she described as “fake prophecy.”
Nkechi Blessing urged women seeking God’s intervention in their personal lives to exercise discernment and avoid falling victim to questionable prophecies.
She also condemned online trolls who repeatedly remind women that they are getting older, unmarried or childless, stressing that outsiders may not know the battles they are fighting behind the scenes.
The actress called for greater compassion and sensitivity towards women facing personal challenges, particularly on issues relating to marriage and childbearing.
