The community of Isara Remo is in mourning following the passing of their revered monarch, Kabiyesi Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe, ERINSIBA III, the 37th Odemo of Isara and Chairman of the Remo North Council of Obas. The news of his demise reached residents at dawn today, eliciting grief across the city known as the “City of Joy.”
Oba Mayungbe, who recently celebrated his 84th birthday, reigned as Odemo of Isara Remo for seven years, from 2018 until 2025. His leadership was characterized by dedication, kindness, and a genuine love for his people. He was widely admired for his generosity and service to the community, serving until his passing with unwavering commitment.
A member of the Erinsiba Ayoledoye Ruling House, Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe’s reign was marked by progress and development in Isara. His leadership style earned him the affection and respect of his subjects and peers alike.
