Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Announces Daughter Meraiah’s Engagement
Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has announced the engagement of her daughter, Meriah Ekeinde.
Omotola shared a video from the engagement ceremony on her Instagram page, @realomosexy, on Saturday, accompanied by a congratulatory message to her daughter and her fiancé.
“Have you heard? My twinnie is engaged! I guess we have a wedding to plan! Congratulations to the lovebirds,” she wrote.
Meriah, also known as Meraiah or Mimi, had earlier shared news of the engagement on her own social media page with the caption, “New chapter.”
The engagement marks another family milestone for Omotola and her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, who have four children.
The announcement has since attracted congratulatory messages from fans and followers celebrating the couple.
