Rehdors Initiative Praised for Sustained Support to Remo North Pupils.

The Ode Remo Youth Association (ORYA) has praised the Olusoga Adesanya Odunayo Foundation, also known as Rehdors Initiative, for completing the sixth edition of its Annual Back-to-School Educational Support Programme in selected primary schools across Remo North Local Government Area.

In a statement, the association said the programme’s continued provision of educational materials to pupils from Primary One to Primary Six was a valuable contribution to basic education. It noted that the support could also ease some of the costs faced by families in providing school necessities for their children.

ORYA highlighted the range of materials distributed, including reasoning books, assessment workbooks, grammar books, exercise books and teachers’ lesson notes. The association said the selection reflected an understanding of the practical needs of both pupils and teachers in local schools.

The youth association also commended the foundation’s pioneer, Dr. Olusoga Adesanya, for providing the vision and leadership behind the initiative. It said the programme’s continuation over six editions demonstrated a sustained commitment to education and investment in human capital, rather than a one-off intervention.

“Education remains one of the most effective pathways to sustainable community development,” the association said, adding that initiatives supporting pupils and schools deserved recognition and encouragement from stakeholders.

ORYA called on individuals, organisations and institutions with the capacity to contribute to education to follow the foundation’s example. It said support for schools and children could help strengthen learning and advance the development of communities across Remo North.

On behalf of its leadership and members, the association expressed appreciation to the Olusoga Adesanya Odunayo Foundation for what it described as an impactful contribution to education. It also acknowledged the foundation’s service to communities and its continued support for pupils and teachers.

The statement was signed by Comrade Oluwamuyiwa Babajide Ogunbote, president of the Ode Remo Youth Association.

The sixth edition of the programme continues the foundation’s annual effort to provide learning resources to pupils in selected primary schools. ORYA said such sustained community-based initiatives can complement broader efforts to improve access to educational materials and support teaching and learning at the grassroots.

The association encouraged stakeholders to recognise education as a shared responsibility and to contribute, where possible, to initiatives that help children learn and schools meet their needs.
