Remo Secondary School Senior Celebrates Academic Excellence.

Remo Secondary School Senior has emerged in first place in a debate competition for senior secondary schools across Remoland, held as part of the 50th Lipakala Day Celebration 2026 in Ogere Remo.

The event brought together students from schools across the region to demonstrate their knowledge, confidence, eloquence and critical-thinking abilities. Remo Secondary School Senior distinguished itself with a strong performance, earning the judges’ top position and bringing pride to the school community.

The competition was sponsored by the family of the late Alhaji Abdulyekeen Adeniye. Beyond providing an opportunity for students to compete, the event sought to promote learning, support intellectual development and encourage young people to pursue academic excellence.

Students representing the winning school were recognised for their achievement and received awards and educational materials. The prizes are intended to encourage them to remain focused on their studies and continue working towards future success.

The victory highlights the students’ preparation and dedication, as well as the school’s commitment to developing articulate, confident and forward-thinking young people. Their achievement also underscores the value of opportunities that allow students to express ideas, engage with challenging topics and build essential communication skills.

For Remo Secondary School Senior, the first-place finish is a significant moment at a milestone celebration for the Remo community. It reflects the effort invested by the students and the support of those who helped them prepare and participate.

The school’s success at the 50th Lipakala Day Celebration is a reminder that academic competitions can inspire students to aim high while fostering healthy rivalry among schools. By recognising achievement and supporting learning, the debate competition encouraged participants to keep developing their knowledge and abilities.

Congratulations to Remo Secondary School Senior on its well-deserved victory. The school’s performance has added to the celebration and set an example for students across Remoland to pursue excellence in their academic endeavours.
