Temitope Osoba to Be Buried in Iperu-Remo Thursday
The late Nollywood actress, Temitope Osoba, will be laid to rest in Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, following the release of new burial arrangements by her family.
According to the funeral programme, Osoba’s remains will leave the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH), Sagamu, at 9:00 a.m. The burial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market, Iperu-Remo.
The service will be followed immediately by interment at the Iperu-Remo Cemetery. The family has also directed mourners to appear in white.
The new arrangements follow the postponement of Osoba’s earlier burial, which had been scheduled for August 13. The family subsequently announced that the ceremony had been postponed indefinitely before releasing the new date.
Osoba, popularly known as Tope Osoba, died in August 2026 at the age of 40. Her death was announced by fellow actor Alesh Sanni.
