YAYI:Completed Road Marks Infrastructure Milestone for Ifo Communities.

The Olomu–Ososun Road in Ifo Local Government Area has been completed and opened for public use, marking a major infrastructure development for residents who rely on the route.
The project, located in Ogun Central, is expected to improve access between communities and ease some of the difficulties faced by residents travelling along the road. Its completion represents a response to longstanding calls for improved road infrastructure in the area.
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá, popularly known as YAYI, has been credited with supporting the project as part of efforts to advance infrastructure and improve living conditions across Ogun State. The road’s delivery reflects the importance of connecting communities to essential services, markets and other destinations.
For residents, a functional road can make daily travel easier and support local economic activity. Improved access may also help strengthen links between communities and create better conditions for the movement of people and goods.
The project has been presented as part of a broader push to deliver infrastructure under the Renewed Hope Agenda. Supporters say the focus is on ensuring that development reaches local communities and produces visible benefits for residents.
The completion of the Olomu–Ososun Road adds to ongoing calls for sustained investment in roads and other public infrastructure across Ogun State. While the project marks progress for Ifo residents, further improvements will be needed to meet the needs of communities across the state.
The road’s delivery has been welcomed as a step towards addressing transportation challenges and supporting development in the area. Residents and stakeholders will now look to the continued maintenance of the route to help preserve its condition and ensure it remains safe and accessible.
The project has also renewed expectations for additional infrastructure work in the months ahead. Supporters of Senator YAYI say further projects would reinforce efforts to improve connectivity and living conditions across Ogun State.
The Olomu–Ososun Road is being promoted under the slogan, “Promise made, promises kept,” with the campaign message: “YAYI 2027: Delivering Infrastructure. Transforming Communities. Building a Better Ogun State.
