Remo Traditional Council Hosts Traditional Leaders Retreat

The Remo Traditional Council commenced its traditional leaders retreat on June 13th, with notable personalities and traditional office holders in attendance. The retreat aims to empower traditional leaders in Remo land to continue successfully in their roles and assignments. The council is chaired by the Akarigbo of Remo land, HRH Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, who gave a short lecture to those in attendance, emphasizing the importance of education at all levels.

The retreat, which has been a major event in Remo land, has provided a platform for traditional leaders to discuss issues affecting the community and to find solutions to them. The executive governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, was in attendance today, adding to the significance of the event.

 

The grand finale of the retreat is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 17th June, and is expected to be a significant event that will further empower traditional leaders in Remo land to continue in their roles and assignments successfully.

 

The Remo Traditional Council has been instrumental in promoting the rich cultural heritage of Remo land and ensuring that traditional leaders play their roles effectively in the development of the community.
