Tinubu Leads Guests to National Arcade for Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration

The annual Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration (AFRDC), organized by the Ministry of Defence to honor the nation’s fallen heroes, is currently underway at the National Arcade, Eagle Square, Abuja.
President Bola Tinubu is slated to lead a gathering of esteemed individuals, including diplomatic corps members, to attend the ceremony.
AFRDC serves as an annual tribute, recognizing the sacrifices of Nigeria’s heroes who gave their lives during the First and Second World Wars, the Nigerian Civil War, global peace support operations, and various internal security endeavors.
The venue is already graced by the presence of all service chiefs, led by Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Christopher Musa, alongside heads of other security agencies, contributing to the significance of the event.
