Bade Unik Schools Celebrates 18th, 25th Anniversary

Bade Unik Schools marked a significant milestone on September 20th as it celebrated its 18th anniversary for the nursery and primary school and 25th anniversary for the secondary school.
The celebration kicked off with a display of songs of praise and appreciation, as students took to the dance floor. Teachers, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, later joined in, showcasing their cultural heritage.
The arrival of the Akarigbo, Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II alongside other esteemed monarchs, including the Elepe of Epe and Onipara of Ipara, added prestige to the ceremony.
The Principal and Proprietor of Bade Unik Schools then presented awards to outstanding students from primary to secondary school, with cash prizes ranging from N10,000 to N5,000. Some notable awardees included Odi Divine Babatunde and Mabuba Agunloye Kehinde from Nursery 2, Adebambo Folawe and Onalana Segun from Primary One, and Emmanuel Revival Ogunlaja and Idera Akinwande from SS 1. Akinwunmi Basit received N50,000 for being the best-behaved student in the Junior Secondary School. The exhaustive list of outstanding students contains many other students who were duly compensated for their outstanding performance both in their academics and behaviour.
In addition to recognizing academic excellence, the school also honored committed parents who have supported the institution throughout the years. Three groups of parents were recognized and rewarded with incentives, including payment-free sessions and free accommodation throughout the present academic session.
During the ceremony, the Proprietor appealed to the government and stakeholders for support, citing the challenges faced by private institutions. “Government thinks private schools are making money, but we need help,” he emphasized. Letters have been sent to parents highlighting the difficulties faced by “our school”.
The Akarigbo of Remoland, Torungbuwa II, Babatunde Adewale Ajayi commended Bade Unik Schools’ dedication to quality education and community development. He pledged his continued support and encouragement, acknowledging the school’s significant contribution to the community.
Other notable dignitaries present included Bamofin and the Chief of Staff.
