Otunba Rotimi Oladele Onafadeji Installed as New Oluwo of Eposo Town

In a significant ceremony held at the palace of the Eleposo of Eposo, Kabiyesi Oba Mukaila Akanji Olabinjo, Luwo Abejoye II, officially installed Otunba Rotimi Oladele Onafadeji as the new Oluwo of Eposo. The event, characterized by rich traditions and communal festivity, drew various dignitaries and well-wishers from near and far.

The installation ceremony was attended by a host of traditional rulers and local leaders, including the Onirolu of Irolu, Alaperu of Iperu, Onipara of Ipara, Nloku Iraye,Alaye Ode, Radanuwa of Idado, Onigode of Igode, Ogidan of araye, Ayanperuwa of Sotubo, Ebi Idena, Legunshe Ilupeju, and Àyanperuwa of Sotubo.

Additionally, notable representatives from several organizations and alumni groups, including the Odogbolu Grammar School Old Boys Association (72/76 family) and Ifelagba Alaseyori Obinrin Social Club from Ijebu Remo, also graced the occasion.

The day began with traditional rites and a series of ceremonial activities held at the Iledi Awo in Eposo, showcasing the town’s cultural heritage. Following these rituals, Otunba Onafadeji was ceremonially beaded and crowned in a celebratory atmosphere filled with family, friends, and local royalty.

The event culminated with a reception at the new Oluwo’s residence, where guests shared food and drinks, further strengthening community bonds.

In a brief address following his installation, Otunba Rotimi Oladele Onafadeji expressed his commitment to ushering in a new era for Eposo. Drawing on his extensive experience as a legal practitioner, he emphasized his readiness to actively contribute to the town’s development. The new Oluwo’s vision resonates with the hopes of the community, aiming for progress and collaboration in addressing local challenges.
