Kemule Day 2025: Celebrating a Legacy of Excellence and Unity
A historic event is set to take place on January 11, 2025, as the inaugural Kemule Day celebration will hold at the Twins Event Center in Sagamu, Ogun State. The event is a tribute to Kemule-Ade Edeiro, a matriarch whose indomitable spirit and values have shaped the lives of her descendants across generations.
The celebration will bring together families connected to Kemule’s children, including Okubamowo, Laani Solarin (Aboriota), Mama Hannah Ojenaike Ogunlesi (iya Onigbalo), Mama Ayisat Efunkoya Solanke (Iya Eleni), HRM Oba William Christopher Adedoyin, and Mama Odenaike Iya Oke-Okun).
The event will feature storytelling sessions, cultural performances, and a keynote address by Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin.
The Kemule Day celebration is not only a tribute to the past but also a platform for building a sustainable future. The event will launch the Kemule Elediro Book, establish the Kemule Elediro Union, and appoint a protem executive. The union aims to create opportunities for collaboration in education, business, and community development among descendants.
