Abiodun Orders Reconstruction of Saje-Elega-Adedotun Road in Abeokuta

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has ordered the immediate reconstruction of the Saje-Elega-Adedotun Road in Abeokuta South Local Government Area, with construction work expected to commence next week.

The governor gave the directive on Tuesday, November 3, during a stakeholders’ meeting with ward and local government executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), held at Centenary Hall, Ake, Abeokuta.

Abiodun said the proposed reconstruction was part of his administration’s commitment to upgrading public infrastructure and improving the outlook of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The announcement is expected to bring attention to the condition of the road and the need for improved infrastructure within the affected communities.

However, details concerning the project’s contract value, construction contractor and expected completion date were not disclosed in the announcement.

The reconstruction is expected to improve road infrastructure in the area once work begins.
