Mapoly muslim alumni set for 9th national convention
Plans are underway by the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Muslim Alumni to hold her 9th National Convention and 20th Anniversary in the ancient city of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, South West Nigeria this weekend.
The three-day event, according to a press release e-signed Monday by Secretary to the Publication, Publicity and Media Committee (PPMC), Ismael Ayinla, is slated for this Friday, November 25 to Sunday, November 27.
The gathering is expected to bring not only MAPAMA members home and abroad together, but would also be a colloquium for the ‘crème de la crème’ in the orgnisation to discuss issues of national concern.
The Head, PPMC, Tajudeen Balogun, disclosed that the event will feature programmes such as: courtesy visit to MAPOLY School Management, Humanitarian visit to Orphanage Home, Prison and Leprosy Village by the National Executive Council (NEC) members.
The 2022 National Convention is proudly supported by: Oodua 99.9FM, Abeokuta; Shelter Clay Products Limited; O.R. Adebanjo Associates and Civic Designs and Planning Variations Ltd CDPV, Lagos.
MAPAMA National Convention is a biennial event of the organisation. The group, since her birth in 2001, has organized eight successive Conventions where issues of National concerns; ranges from Economy, Education and Career advancement were discussed by seasoned professionals of diverse disciplines
