Ogun Appoints 8 New Judges, Other Key Judicial Officials

Ogun state judiciary on Monday appointed new judicial official and eight new judges to the judiciary department of the State. The appointment and swearing in was done by the executive governor of the state, prince Dapo Abiodun. Who noted that this is a step into a better judiciary in the state.

Prince Dapo stated that Forming a vital part of his Administration’s efforts to further reposition the state judicial system, the swearing in of eight (8) newly appointed judges and other key officials in the judiciary in Abeokuta is a bold move.

“At the event, my primary charge to the newly sworn in officials, who were only appointed sequel to rigorous scrutiny of and recommendations on seniority and competence, was that they continue to uphold the very standards that gave them the merit of office.

 

“ Our Administration will not relent in ensuring everything that enhances justice delivery, including facility provision & improvement as well as welfare of officials, as seen in our payment of allowances & the recent presentation of SUVs to judges” he added.

 

The newly appointed Judges and judicial executives were, however, charged to uphold the principle and policy of the state, not forgetting the code of conduct.
