IKENNE LG CHAIRMAN FELICITATES MUSLIMS ON EID-EL-MAULUD, ANNOUNCES FREE HEALTH INSURANCE REGISTRATION

The Chairman of Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Jamiu Mohammad Asimi, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful and residents of Ikenne Local Government Area as they commemorate Eid-el-Maulud, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Asimi congratulated members of the Muslim community and urged residents to reflect on the values of peace, compassion, unity, tolerance and service to humanity associated with the life and teachings of the Prophet.
The Chairman also used the occasion to announce a free health insurance registration programme scheduled to hold on Thursday at the Ikenne Local Government Secretariat, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
According to the Chairman, the initiative will provide an opportunity for about half a million people to be registered for the health insurance scheme, with beneficiaries expected to enjoy the benefits of the scheme for one year.
The programme is aimed at supporting residents’ access to healthcare and promoting the wellbeing of people within the local government area.
Hon. Asimi encouraged residents to take advantage of the initiative and participate in the registration exercise at the Local Government Secretariat on Thursday.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the local government administration to programmes that promote the welfare, health and development of residents.
The Chairman further wished Muslims and the entire people of Ikenne Local Government a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Maulud celebration, while praying for continued peace, good health and prosperity in the community.
