Maximus Academy Wins Inaugural Arepo Community Spelling Bee

Maximus Academy has emerged winner of the inaugural Rotary Club of Arepo Longbridge Spelling Bee Competition for secondary school students in Arepo, Ogun State, with its representatives scoring 38 points.
The competition featured four secondary schools: Alpha Choice Innovative Academy, Harvard High School, Maximus Academy and Moore House International School.
Representing Maximus Academy, Deborah Nathaniel and Folashade Victor distinguished themselves during two rounds of challenging spelling exercises to secure the top position in the contest.
The competition provided a platform for students from the participating schools to demonstrate their spelling abilities, vocabulary knowledge and composure under competitive conditions.
Spelling bee competitions also encourage literacy development, strengthen students’ command of language and promote healthy academic rivalry among schools.
Maximus Academy’s reported victory highlights the role of inter-school academic activities in encouraging students to develop their language skills and pursue academic excellence.
The competition’s results and the details of the event should be confirmed with the organisers before publication.
