Sagamu LG Chairman Calls For Peace, Unity As Nigeria Marks 66th Independence Anniversary

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has called on Nigerians to uphold peace, unity and collective responsibility as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
Odulate, in a goodwill message to Nigerians at home and abroad, particularly residents of Sagamu Local Government, said this year’s theme, “From Reforms to Stability: Consolidating Nigeria’s Renewed Hope for Shared Prosperity,” reflects an important stage in the country’s development.
He acknowledged that the journey towards economic stability could come with challenges and sacrifices, but noted that meaningful reforms should ultimately result in better opportunities, improved livelihoods and a more prosperous future for citizens.
The chairman said Nigeria remains a country of great potential at 66, with its strength rooted in the resilience, creativity and determination of its people. He added that Sagamu Local Government would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving lives, strengthening communities and contributing to national development.
Odulate also encouraged Nigerians to continue believing in the country, maintain peace and unity, and contribute to building the Nigeria they desire. He wished Nigerians a happy 66th Independence Anniversary and prayed for continued progress for Sagamu Local Government, Ogun State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
