After months of suspended banking activities due to the destruction of banks in Sagamu, some banks, including FCMB, First Bank, Zenith Bank, and Union Bank, have resumed operations. However, some banks, such as UBA and Wema Bank, are yet to resume operations.

In an interview with a resident of Sagamu, Mrs. Adekunle, she expressed her delight at the resumption of banking activities in the town. She mentioned that the suspension of banking activities had made it difficult for her to access banking services, and she had to travel to other towns to carry out transactions.

“I am very happy that the banks have resumed operations in Sagamu. It was difficult for me to access banking services, and I had to travel to other towns to carry out transactions. The resumption of banking activities will make life easier for me and other residents of Sagamu,” she said.

Mrs. Adekunle also mentioned that she was impressed with the safety measures put in place by the banks to ensure the safety of their staff and customers. She said that she felt safe while carrying out transactions in the bank.

“I was impressed with the safety measures put in place by the banks. I felt safe while carrying out transactions in the bank. I urge other residents of Sagamu to observe safety protocols while visiting the bank,” she said.

The resumption of banking activities in Sagamu is a welcome development, as it will ease the difficulties faced by the people in accessing banking services. It is hoped that other banks will also resume operations soon, to further improve the ease of doing business in the town.
