Corps Marshall, Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC), Dauda Ali Biu, has taken swift action to address the issue of rickety vehicles endangering road users across Nigeria. In response to a viral video showcasing a dangerously dilapidated vehicle with only three worn-out tires navigating a major expressway, Biu has ordered an immediate clampdown on the vehicle and the arrest of its owner. The registration number of the vehicle, identified as AA07AG, indicates its presence in Lagos State.

The FRSC, known for its commitment to ensuring the safety of road users, has directed its personnel to be vigilant and on the lookout for similar unstable vehicles on major roads throughout the country. The Corps Public Enlightenment Officer (CPEO), Bisi Kazeem, emphasized the importance of this crackdown in safeguarding the lives and well-being of all road users. The FRSC’s dedication to maintaining road safety remains unwavering, as they continue their efforts to create a safer and more secure transportation environment in Nigeria.

As the FRSC takes decisive action against rickety vehicles, it serves as a reminder for all road users to prioritize safety. It is crucial to report any sightings of unstable vehicles to the FRSC or other relevant authorities, helping to prevent potential accidents and protect lives.
