Say No to Crime: Sagamu Unites for Peace Walk

In a remarkable display of unity and determination, the Nigerian Police, in collaboration with the Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative, organized a peace walk and rally under the theme “Say No to All Kinds of Crime.”

The event, held in Sagamu, witnessed an impressive turnout of residents, including the National Youth Council of Nigeria Sagamu chapter and esteemed royalty.

The peace walk, which aimed to raise awareness about the fight against crime, saw the participation of various organizations and community members. Notable figures in attendance included the Akarigbo of Remo land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, and several kings and royal fathers from Sagamu and Remo.

Addressing the gathering, the Akarigbo emphasized the significance of Ogun State as an economic hub and Remo as a thriving business center. He stressed the community’s commitment to preserving its legacy and thwarting any attempts to disrupt its progress. The rally served as a powerful statement against cultism and other nefarious activities, with a clear warning that those involved would face the full consequences of their actions.

The event showcased the unwavering determination of the police, organizations, and community leaders to ensure the safety and well-being of Sagamu residents. By coming together and standing united against crime, they sent a resounding message that crime has no place in their community.
