Remo Day 2024: Students from Remo North Local Government Explore Rich Cultural Heritage at Art Exhibition

In celebration of the ongoing Remo Day 2024, Mr. Wole Awe led a group of inquisitive students from Saapade Grammar School and African Bethel School on an enlightening tour of the art exhibition ground at the Royal Event Center, Akarigbo Palace, Ita Oba, Sagamu, Ogun State.

The students were treated to a captivating display of artistic expressions, cultural relics, and traditional narratives, carefully curated to showcase the rich cultural patrimony of the Remo people. Mr. Awe provided erudite commentary, elucidating the historical context, symbolic significance, and aesthetic appeal of each exhibit, leaving the students in awe of the cultural treasures on display.

The exhibition was a veritable showcase of creative virtuosity, featuring an array of artworks, crafts, and artifacts that highlighted the Remo people’s exceptional artistic flair. From intricately woven textiles and vibrant paintings to exquisitely crafted sculptures and traditional musical instruments, the exhibition was a visual spectacle that left a lasting impression on the students.
