SAGAMU LG CHAIRMAN HOSTS MAPOLY SUG LEADERS, LAUDED AS SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Jubril Olasile Odulate, on Tuesday received the leadership of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, led by its President, Comrade Afolabi Temitope, a proud indigene of Sagamu.
The courtesy visit was aimed at strengthening ties with the local government and seeking the Chairman’s support for the union’s ongoing programmes and projects.
During the visit, the SUG leadership requested Hon. Odulate to serve as their Patron on Program and Project, describing him as a father, mentor, and source of guidance to the current administration. Comrade Temitope praised the Chairman’s exemplary leadership and contributions to community development, noting that his journey continues to inspire young leaders working to make a positive impact.
In his remarks, Hon. Odulate appreciated the students for their visit and thoughtful gesture, assuring them of his continued support. He encouraged the union executives to stay focused, disciplined, and determined in the pursuit of excellence, stressing that no goal is unattainable with hard work and commitment.
The Chairman also commended Comrade Temitope for his outstanding representation and for making Sagamu proud through purposeful student leadership at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
