Modern Infrastructure and Community Development Projects Commissioned in Sagamu and Abeokuta

Thursday, 21st May 2026 marked another milestone in infrastructural growth and urban development in Ogun State, as residents of Sagamu and Abeokuta gathered to witness the commissioning of major community and housing projects designed to enhance living standards and promote sustainable development.

‎The first ceremony took place at Old Lemor Road, Agura Sabo, Sagamu, where the Isiaka Asiru Agbegilere Road alongside the newly installed road and street solar lighting project was officially commissioned in the presence of traditional rulers, community leaders, residents, and invited guests.

‎The project, facilitated by Easy and Tiko Facilities and Management Services Limited, was described as a strategic intervention aimed at improving road safety, strengthening security, and advancing infrastructural development within the Agura Sabo community.

‎Performing the official commissioning, His Royal Highness, Oba (Evangelist) Oladimeji Allison, the Alagura of Agura Sabo, Sagamu, commended the initiative and praised the sponsors for their meaningful contribution to community development. He noted that the solar-powered street lighting system would enhance visibility, ease movement at night, and create a safer and more conducive environment for residents and businesses alike.

‎The event featured goodwill messages from community stakeholders, royal blessings, and an inspection of the completed facilities, with attendees applauding the quality and impact of the project on the surrounding environment.

‎Later in the day, attention shifted to MetroPark Estate, behind OGTV Studio, off Ajebo Road, Abeokuta, where BISHAM Developers officially commissioned BISHAM Boulevard and unveiled three newly completed model houses within the estate.

‎The event commenced at about 3:00 p.m., featuring entertainment and smooth coordination. Popular compere VJ peejay anchored the ceremony as Master of Ceremony, while DJ Celeto provided musical entertainment that kept the atmosphere lively and celebratory throughout.

‎The proceedings began with a prayer led by Imam Munirudeen Thabit, the Noibi of Remoland and Grand Mufti of Remoland, who offered supplications for peace, progress, and the continued success of the project and its stakeholders.

‎This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Mr. Isiaka Asiru, the man of the moment, who expressed profound appreciation to his friends, family members, and well-wishers for their unwavering support and presence at the historic occasion. He also extended gratitude to the developers and organizers for bringing the project to fruition.

‎Goodwill messages were later delivered by Barrister Kunle Oyenusi, who commended Mr. Isiaka Asiru and appreciated his wife for their support. This was followed by speeches from his co-workers and brother, Alhaji Bashy Dauda, who also acknowledged his contributions and dedication.

‎The official commissioning was performed by Brigadier General Kunle Solarin, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Alhaji Taofeek Oduwaye, who appreciated all dignitaries, guests, and organizers for their presence and support.
