Port Harcourt to Host 2026 NPBL Playoffs for Fourth Consecutive Year
Port Harcourt has been confirmed as the host city for the 2026 Nigeria Premier Basketball League (NPBL) playoffs for the fourth consecutive year.
The playoffs, also known as Phase Three, were initially scheduled for August 22–29 but have been rescheduled to August 29–September 6, 2026.
The competition will take place at the Basketball Stadium, 59 Niger Street, Port Harcourt Township, Rivers State. According to the revised schedule, participating teams are expected to arrive on August 29, with competitive action scheduled to run from August 30 to September 5.
The schedule adjustment was communicated by Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) Vice-President and League Chairman Babatunde Ogunade and Secretary-General Amina Amanchi.
