Family, Children Pay Heartfelt Tribute to Late Alhaja Memunat Adekunbi Adeyemo Ashabi

On October 12, 2024, the children of Late Alhaja Memunat Adekunbi Adeyemo Ashabi gathered at the Akarigbo Palace Hall to honor their beloved mother’s life in a grand memorial service.
The septuagenarian, who passed away in August 2024, left behind a legacy of love and devotion, having raised seven children. The elaborate celebration, which commenced at about 1 pm, drew together a sea of family and friends, filling the hall to capacity.
Upon arrival, guests were received into the hall on neatly arranged tables and chairs, each bearing the names of the children and family members expected to be present. As the ceremony began, the guest musicians took to the stage, setting the tone for a joyous celebration.
The pinnacle of the event was a dance tribute by Late Mrs. Adeyemo’s children and grandchildren, who took to the floor one by one to honor their mother and grandmother. The audience, comprising family and friends, rose to their feet, dancing and rejoicing with them.
Late Mrs. Adeyemo’s steadfast commitment to family was vividly remembered and honored during the memorial service, through moving testimonies from her children and loved ones.
The attendees bid farewell, exiting the hall to the rhythm of ongoing music, their faces aglow with cherished and loving memories of Late Alhaja Memunat Adekunbi Ashabi.
