COMMUNITY NABS LAPTOP THIEF IN IJEBU ODE, OGUN STATE
A man identified as Bimbo Olugbenro has been apprehended by residents of Unity Estate, Molipa, Ijebu Ode for reportedly stealing two Samsung phones and a laptop.
According to news sources, Mr Olugbenro had stealthily gained entrance into the apartment at Unity Estate unnoticed in the early hours of Tuesday and succeeded in sneaking out the electronic gadgets before luck ran out of him.
A neighbor who had suspected his suspicious movements accosted him, inquiring about where he had gotten the laptop and phones from.
In a bid to escape, he scaled the Estate fence but only ended up in the waiting arms of neighbours who had been alerted by the commotion.
The culprit has since confessed to the crime in a viral video released by Ijeburewa,and has been handed over to the police authorities for further investigations and possible persecution.
