Lidero Festival & Celebration : Eleja FC Holds Lidero FC to a stalemate in Friendly game

The Lidero Festival celebration continued on Tuesday as Eleja FC and Lidero FC clashed in a highly anticipated friendly match at St. Paul School Field, Aiyepe Road, Sagamu. Despite an intense 90-minute battle, the game ended in a goalless draw, showcasing the teams’ exceptional defensive skills.
In a gesture of appreciation, the Radanuwa of Idado, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, presented both teams with generous cash prizes, acknowledging their outstanding performances.
The match, part of the Lidero Festival celebrations, aimed to foster community unity and promote grassroots football development. The Radanuwa’s support underscores the importance of sports in bridging social gaps and encouraging youth engagement.
