Brilliant Hype Kiddies School Hosts Colourful 4th Biennial Inter-House Sports Fiesta in Sagamu

The management, staff, pupils, parents, and invited guests of Brilliant Hype Kiddies Nursery and Primary School gathered in grand style for the school’s 4th Biennial Inter-House Sports Fiesta 2026, held at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, Ogun State, on Thursday, 21st May, 2026, beginning at exactly 10:00 a.m.

The colourful sporting event attracted dignitaries, parents, students, invited schools, and well-wishers who stormed the stadium to witness an exciting display of talent, sportsmanship, unity, and entertainment.

The Master of Ceremony, MC Ogunyinka Ayoobola, officially commenced the programme by inviting distinguished personalities to the high table in the presence of the Chairman of the Day, ACI Ojo Olaniyi Johnson (NigeriaImmigration Service) alongside Mrs. Rachael Owodunni (Mother of the Day), Pastor Obadipe solomon GOSPEM Bible church, Pastor Olufimihan-Kenneth Tosin (JacobsHouse Church) . Chief Adetayo Adelaja (Lajason Papers) Akintunde Olusegun Nathaniel (Talk2Me House), Miss Ayomiposi Idowu ((Ayomiposi Idowu house) White house. Mr. Lasisi Saheed (FASWARFURNITURE) blue house, Pst & Deaconess Olusola and Bukola OGUNLESI (DAYSTAR group of schools) Orange house. King Victor Christian Okorie (King Victor (Yellow House), Engnr Sokoya Abdul-Fatai (Horlar Maradona Crush). Hon Ogunyinka Olajide (Proprietor Cambridge group of schools). Green house and several other notable guests.

The opening prayer was led by Pastor Obadipe, after which the MC specially recognized the Royal Father of the Day, HRH Oba Sunday Oladimeji Osho (Elewuga of Ewuga, Sagamu, Ogun State) and other eminent personalities present at the occasion.

The ceremony proceeded with the recitation of the Nigerian National Anthem, Ogun State Anthem, and the school anthem. Pupils of Brilliant Hype Kiddies Nursery and Primary School proudly rendered the school anthem, displaying unity, discipline, and school spirit.

The oath-taking session for house masters and game officials followed immediately. The oath was administered by student representative Mustapha Aduragbemi, while the representative of the Game Mistress, Mrs. Oluwasoga Glory, conducted the official oath-taking exercise.

The sporting fiesta was formally declared open with a spectacular march-past parade by the students. Pupils, beautifully dressed in their respective house colours, thrilled parents and guests with impressive performances and coordinated displays.

White House kicked off the march-past parade with an outstanding performance as they saluted the patrons before marching off the field. They were followed by Blue House, Orange House, Green House, Wine House, and Yellow House respectively.

In another exciting moment, the MC invited patrons of the various houses to receive flowers and take photographs with members of their houses. Mr. Akintunde Olusegun Nathaniel (Talk2Me House) inaugurated Wine House, Mr. Ogunlesi (Daystar Group of Schools House) inaugurated Orange House, while Mr. Lasisi (FASWAR Furniture House) inaugurated Blue House.

The competition intensified as various races commenced, including the 75 metres race for Tiny Tots boys and girls, 100 metres race for Junior boys and girls, 100 metres race for Senior boys and girls, 20 metres race for Tiny Tots, 30 metres race for Tiny Tots, and 50 metres race for Tiny Tots, alongside several other competitive events.

Addressing the audience, the Chairman of the Day, ACI Ojo Johnson Olaniyi, commended the school management for organizing a successful and impactful sporting programme that promotes physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and unity among students.

The pupils further entertained guests with a captivating choreography performance, which drew loud cheers and applause from spectators. The MC later introduced the Ultimate Search Game, where Wine House emerged victorious while Blue House secured second position.

Invited schools also participated in relay race activities, thrilling the audience with exciting performances on the track. Other entertaining games included the Fill-in-the-Container Race, won by Blue House with Green House taking second position, alongside the Bicycle Race, Picking the Balls Game, Blindfold Game, Lime and Spoon Race, and One-Leg Race.

At the end of the keenly contested march-past competition, Blue House was announced as the overall winner, earning loud applause from parents, supporters, and invited guests. Certificates were also presented to patrons of the various houses in appreciation of their unwavering support and contributions toward the success of the event.

The sports fiesta further featured parents’ races for both male and female categories, staff races, and competitions involving old students of the school, all of which added excitement, fun, and memorable moments to the occasion.

Winners across different sporting events were later called forward to receive prizes and gifts, while invited schools that excelled in relay races were equally honoured with awards and recognition.

During the grand finale, the overall inter-house sports results were announced amid jubilation from pupils and supporters. Wine House emerged in 6th position, Green House secured 5th position, Yellow House came 4th, Orange House finished 3rd, White House took 2nd position, while Blue House emerged as the overall champion of the 2026 Inter-House Sports Fiesta. Blue House also clinched victory in the march-past category, further cementing their dominance at the event.

The 4th Biennial Inter-House Sports Fiesta of Brilliant Hype Kiddies Nursery and Primary School ended in a colourful, lively, and memorable atmosphere filled with excitement, celebration, and entertainment as guests applauded the school management for organizing a successful, impactful, and well-coordinated sporting event.
